He was born in Pertek , Tunceli in 1961. He completed his primary school education in Dere Nahiyesi village in Pertek county, his junior high school and high school education in Elazığ. He started his postgraduate study in Aliment Hygiene and Technology at Fırat University Veterinary School in 1988. Completing his postgraduate study in 1993, he became an  Assistant Professor at  Fırat University, an Associate Professor in 1996 and a Professor in 2003. Between the years 2004-2007 he worked as a Director of Fırat University Sivrice Vocational School of Higher Education and between the years 2007-2008 a Director of Fırat University Social Sciences Vocational School of Higher Education while performing as a Senator at  Fırat University. He started to work at  Tunceli University as a  Dean of Faculty of Aquaculture in 13 November 2008. He is married and has two children. PUBLISH LIST
