OUTGOING STUDENT
FOR INTERNSHIP
Placement / Internship mobility (Student
Placement)
"Placement"
is the process in which a beneficiary receives professional
training and/or gains work experience in a joint business or
organization in a participant country.
Duration:
Internship duration for undergradute and
graduate students may vary from 3 to 12 months and it must
begin prior to 30 June.
Internship duration for associate students
may vary from 2 weeks to 12 months and it can begin after 30
June.
All mobility activities must end by 30
September.
Host Organizations
Placement with the following organizations
are possible.
Businesses
Education Centers
Research Centers
Other institutions
But, diplomatic missions, institutions of
European Union and those running the Community programs can
not be hosts students.
Beneficiaries

Undergraduate Students: Beneficiaries can be selected from
among the students of all the Higher Education institutions(including
master’s degree and doctoral degree students)

Unlike for the mobility for education, outgoing students for
internship do not have to be at least second year students.

Erasmus students can benefit from placement activities only
once.
Intensive Language Courses :
Short periods of intensive language courses are organized to
prepare guest students for Erasmus period in the countries
where the language is not one of the widely spoken languages
in the world. Thanks to these courses, students gain an
insight into the language and culture of the country before
beginning their education or internship. Courses are not
organized for English, German and French.
